rocking! Funky! alternative?
This is what ultrasound sounds like! The average German listener has heard one or at least two of these genres (hopefully sometimes in combination), but "Alternative Funk Rock" should be new to most of them. What is behind it? Let's do a bit of sound painting:
First of all, the inventor, the band Ultraschall: Four passionate young musicians around 20 from the Koblenz region: Lukas, Tim, Valentin and Yannic have dedicated themselves to music. In addition to their final formation, they also found their sound in 2016. "Ultraschall" combines striking, accentuated funk rhythms with strong guitar riffs and atmospheric, catchy and fresh melodies that stick in your head. The tone is ironic to personal, sometimes political, but always with German-language texts.
With their unique style, the band not only stands out, but also inspires audiences and specialist jurors alike. The band's declared goal is to spread "Alternative Funk Rock" and to infect more people with their music.
