".antonio"? Like right now? Are they committed? How to speak that? And who the fuck is Antonio? Now put your ears up, but watch out, it's going to be loud. When the three sympathetic Odenwald enter the stage, there is no more room for frills. They've known each other forever, have been in this constellation since 2012 and write, play and sing English-language rock music that's going strong. Maybe indie, maybe alternative. Who knows? Definitely one thing – danceable. And sometimes with pogo too.
After the first single "Lovin' Hope" (2013), which was nominated for the "International Portuguese Music Award" and brought the band their first radio presence on stations such as YOUFM and Planet Radio in Germany and Portugal, this was followed in mid-2014 their debut album "breathe in, breathe out", which should put an end to the young band's long journey to their first major release. With a solid base of songs in their luggage, they have been on the road a lot since then and leave catchy melodies and emotionally charged lyrics in the minds of their listeners.
Since its founding, ".antonio" have been on various stages and have played in nationally known clubs such as Centralstation, Darmstadt or Batschkapp, Frankfurt, where they scored particularly well with their energetic stage show. After they have already toured Portugal three times and last year were on stage from Hamburg to Munich, from Chemnitz to Karlsruhe, as well as in Switzerland, the desire for a hot festival summer is already burning again.
