In 1982 Dirk Butz and Norbert Bartz founded the band "DO`S`N`DON`TS"
(Engl.: What to do and what not to do). The group's music at the time reflected a wide spectrum of different musical styles, and was initially heavily inspired by folk, rock and pop. After several line-up changes, the band performed convincingly at many concerts in the greater Koblenz area, particularly between 1985 and 1987. The group then disbanded due to professional and private changes.

After a 30-year break, three musicians (Herbert Junglas, Dirk Butz and H.-Günter Pfleging, from left to right) from DO`S`N`DON`TS (short: DND) got together again and quickly decided to play their own old songs in the new format - initially in a three-person cast - to bring it back to life.

"DO`S`N`DON`TS acoustic" rose like the phoenix from the ashes to finally see the limelight on stage again on March 11, 2017 in Winningen.

The media (Blick aktuell, Mayen) wrote at the time:
"The band didn't notice the 30-year break.", "... the conclusion was clear: you don't forget how to make music..."
In the meantime, the trio can be seen again and again on various stages in the region, for example at the Andernacher Kulturnacht 2018 or at the 30th Muffenale in Bonn.
Their 90-minute long acoustic program consists exclusively of their own compositions. In addition to smaller "special effects", several traditional acoustic instruments such as guitar, ukulele, mandolin or sometimes the so-called cigar box are used.
There are many older songs in the repertoire; but also several newer pieces can be heard.
Stylistically, the original compositions can be placed in the field of pop-rock music.
