Sebastian Wittig, Majit HajiKolos and Volker Cornet touched many people with their intercultural music project Tonspuren. The connection
of Arabic and Western sounds and instruments represents the special attraction of these sound journeys.
Together with drum & percussion specialist Jörg Schwickerath, they have developed a set of improvisational sound textures and serial composition under the label DreiSpurRekorder: traditional sound spaces of oriental instruments are broken up and put together with electronic devices in a new context. The result is purely instrumental, Arabic-inspired lounge music.
The well-known Koblenz trumpeter Tobias Jacobs will be a special guest.
