Dezperadoz (before 2006 Desperados) is a German band whose style is a cross between hard rock, Italo spaghetti western soundtrack, southern and country.

Head and founder of the band is Alex Kraft.

The band around Kraft released their first album "The Dawn of Dying" in 2000, which was sung by Tom Angelripper alongside Kraft. The album was released through the Drakkar Entertainment label.

The second album "The Legend and the Truth" followed in 2006, on which Tobias Sammet, Michael Weikath (Helloween), Doro Pesch and Joacim Cans took part as guests for the individual "roles" of the epic. While the debut album deals with various Western scenarios, the second album is a conceptual work about the life story of the well-known Marshall Wyatt Earp. The second album was released under the new name Dezperadoz on the AFM Records label.

In 2008 the album "An Eye For An Eye" was released via AFM Records. On a journey through time to the year 1898, it tells the story of a man sentenced to death who, according to the religious principles he had been taught, shot his friend out of revenge and looks back on his life on death row.

In 2012 the fourth work "Dead Man's Hand", a concept album about Wild Bill Hickok, will be released again by Drakkar Entertainment, as well as a new edition of the first album "2Dawn of Dying" including a bonus track.

At the beginning of 2016, drummer Jochen JR Rautenstrauch joined them.

In 2017, bassist Manuel Mandrysch and guitarist Wolfgang Sing completed the complete line-up change. This is how the fifth and current Dezperadoz album "Call of the Wild" came about.

This is also a concept album which deals with the true life story of Billy the Kid. The album was released under the Drakkar Entertainment/AFM Records/Soulfood label.

All Dezperadoz albums are worldwide releases. European and world tours, including with Krokus, Axxis, Gotthard, Thin Lizzy, Rage, Sodom, Doro Pesch, Volbeat, UDO, and Tesla Molly Hatchet, showed the spectrum of the band.

Dezperadoz have also performed at festivals such as Wacken Open Air, With Full Force, Earthshaker-Fest, Summer Breeze and many more.
