For the festival's fortieth anniversary, it was time for a little extra: this year, a nearly two-kilometer-long light installation illuminated the park along the route from the event grounds, through the tent and camping area, to the parking lot at the Westnetz administration center.
Peter Baur oversaw the construction and implementation – with a feel for atmosphere and a knack for illuminating details. The local community of Plaidt and the Pellenz collective municipality supported the project financially – thank you!

And there was a small, yet fine premiere elsewhere as well: For the first time, instead of Bitburger, our taps were filled with Vulkan Bräu beer – regional, tasty, and delicious. The change was well received not only by the organizers, but also by many of you. And yes, there were plenty of tests. Purely for research purposes, of course.
